The walk is timed

We time the walk from each front door to the sand, and we tell you if it crosses 30A.

Every room is in the photos

Bunk rooms and half baths included. If it’s in the house, it’s in the gallery.

One of us picks up

Call or text (850) 555-0138, day or night. After 6 pm it rings whoever is on call that week.

Three neighborhoods on one stretch of 30A

Fifteen minutes end to end in light traffic. Each home’s page says which beach access it uses and how long the walk is.

“We brought three generations and the elevator meant my dad could come. The crow’s nest was the kids’ fort and the grown-ups’ nap room.”

Anne-Marie, Houston, TX · July 2025

·

“Exactly the size the photos said. We walked to the beach every morning and never moved the car.”

Dana, Nashville, TN · May 2025

·

“Two bathrooms for two couples made the whole week easy. The stairs are steep with luggage, so pack light.”

Marcus, Atlanta, GA · October 2025

·

“Our dog slept on the porch every afternoon, and so did I. The outdoor shower has real hot water, which matters in April.”

Katie, Birmingham, AL · June 2025

·

“No dishwasher, like the listing warned, and we didn’t miss it. Rain on that roof is the best sleep I’ve had in years.”

Chris, Memphis, TN · September 2025

·

“The courtyard pool is small and perfect for kids. We ate every dinner on the upstairs porch.”

Priya, Houston, TX · July 2025

·

“Quiet at night even in July, which in Grayton is saying something.”

Tom, Chattanooga, TN · July 2025

·

“Three kids under ten, and the pool was where they lived. The screened porch was where we lived.”

Lauren, Little Rock, AR · June 2025

·

“We used the golf cart for everything: the beach, dinner in Seaside, ice cream twice a day.”

Andre, Atlanta, GA · August 2025

·

“Coffee on the dock at sunrise, herons everywhere. My husband paddled every single morning.”

Rebecca, Jackson, MS · May 2025

·

“Two primary suites meant two families and no arguments about who gets the good room.”

Will, Baton Rouge, LA · June 2025

·

“Our lab decided the fenced yard was his. The roof deck at sunset was the whole trip for my parents.”

Stephanie, Tulsa, OK · June 2025

·

“Three floors of stairs is real, but the bunk room kept the teenagers happily out of sight.”

Greg, Huntsville, AL · July 2025

·

“We asked for a crib the day before we arrived. It was set up in the second bedroom when we walked in.”

Daniel, St. Louis, MO · March 2026

·

“Three families, sixteen people, a bathroom for every bedroom. Nobody argued about anything all week.”

Meredith, Nashville, TN · June 2025

·

“Walking straight from the pool to the beach with the little ones was worth it. Maggie texted us the storm forecast before we’d seen it ourselves.”

Carlos, Dallas, TX · August 2025

·

“The bunk nook was the kids’ favorite spot. The AC quit on our second night, and someone came out that evening and fixed it.”

Jordan, Dallas, TX · August 2025

·

“We never drove anywhere all week. The porch swing got more use than the TV.”

Ellen, New Orleans, LA · April 2025

Quarterboard

Quarterboard

Own a house on 30A?

We take on a few new houses a year, in Seagrove, Grayton Beach and Blue Mountain Beach. Tell us about yours and we’ll walk through it with you, then send a written proposal: a rental projection, our fee, and anything the house needs before its first guest.

One person, by name

Your house gets one manager at Quarterboard, and you get their cell number. Not a ticket system.

A walk-through after every stay

Someone checks the house against a list written for it, from the pool pump to the outdoor shower.

No surprise bills

Any repair over $250 waits for your OK unless it’s an emergency, and every bill comes with photos.

Your weeks stay yours

Block your own dates in the owner portal whenever you like, as long as a guest hasn’t booked them first.

Every house here has a name.

A quarterboard is the long carved name board over the door of a coastal house, a habit New England took from the name boards of ships. On 30A nearly every house carries a name too, and it’s how we know the houses we take care of: Loblolly, Ghost Crab, The Lookout. Never by unit number.
