Grayton Beach
Sand lanes, tin roofs and a state park next door.
Grayton has been a beach town since the 1890s, and much of the old village is still small cottages on narrow lanes, many with a name painted over the door. It’s walkable end to end, and most people park on arrival and forget the car.
Grayton Beach State Park borders the village to the east, with Western Lake, a trail through the dunes, and one of the least built-up beaches on 30A.
The beach
The Grayton Beach public access at the end of County Road 283, the main road into the village. Its parking lot fills early in summer, so walk if you can.
