Overview
Ghost Crab is an older beach cottage on the Gulf side of 30A, raised on pilings and redone inside in 2022. The screened porch runs the length of the house, and it’s where most of the week happens: breakfast, naps, cards after dark.
Inside are an open kitchen and living room, three bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a curtained bunk nook in the hall that sleeps two. It’s one of the two houses Quarterboard started with in 2016, and the one Maggie still checks herself.

Our dog slept on the porch every afternoon, and so did I. The outdoor shower has real hot water, which matters in April.

The bunk nook was the kids’ favorite spot. The AC quit on our second night, and someone came out that evening and fixed it.
